MIA: Where did the NABCO Cloth go?
It’s almost the end of the year and with just 3 working days left, you know those of us here at Asetena.com will take a final look at our favourite subject – NABCO.
Well, today, we are looking at the NABCO cloth. Do you remember NABCO trainees were supposed to be in the NABCO cloth for the passing out ceremony?
Dubbed as the ceremonial cloth, NABCO kind of promised trainees that the cloth will be used for the passing out ceremony and even hinted that it could be worn every Friday.
We even had the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the cloth via social media and we were expecting it. However, due to delays, the passing out ceremony was held; without the ceremonial cloth but with tshirts.
So where is the NABCO cloth now? Is is still delayed or production of the cloth has ceased altogether?
Well, NABCO has not said anything about the cloth again and has moved to other “pressing matters” like stipend payment and placement for trainees.
Best guess is that the cloth may come later on when all other matters relating to NABCO has been solved.
Given the scope of NABCO and the issues currently going on with the scheme, it is safe to say the cloth may finally land in the second quarter of 2019.
And it is very likely Trainees will have to pay for the cloth when it is finally out.
