While ggovernment’s efforts to promote energy efficiency through the use of LED bulbs are commendable, it is important to ensure that the transition is affordable for all citizens.

Promoting local production of energy-efficient bulbs could potentially reduce prices and boost the local economy as well. The government must find balance between affordability and energy efficiency so that every Ghanaian will have access to reliable and affordable lighting.
