NABCO Disappoints again; as January Stipends remain unpaid
Update: January Stipend have been paid.
The Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) has again disappointed Trainees all over the country by refusing to pay stipends for January.
Although a lot of the arrears for November and December have been paid, January Stipend is still unpaid.
NABCO promised trainees via a statement on their Facebook Page that Trainees who have been PLACED/POSTED with an Employer and have not DECLINED OFFER, have UPDATED DETAILS and have UPLOADED their ASSUMPTION OF DUTY FORMS, will be verified and will start to receive their stipends from Monday, March 04, 2019.
In the same statement, the NABCO secretariat maintained that those trainees AWAITING PLACEMENTS/POSTING to an Employer and have not DECLINED OFFER and have UPDATED DETAILS should expect the verification and payment of their Stipends based on their Updated Details from Monday, March 04, 2019.
As at the time of writing this, none of the Trainees in those two categories have received any stipend/allowance.
When will NABCO January Stipend be paid?
NABCO stipends were supposed to be paid on 4th March 2019.
The last time Trainees received Stipend was in the evening of 24th January 2019.
The Stipend before that was received 50 days prior.
So the question remains: “With these disappointments, is it safe to say the stipend/allawa won’t drop anytime soon?”.
God bless Mother Ghana
