Funds for NABCO December Stipend have been released

A source close to NABCO Accra Metropolitan has confirmed to Asetena.com that Ministry of Finance has released the second bath of payment for the second payment of stipends for beneficiaries of the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO).

Although this has not been confirmed with other sources, it seems to be pretty much in line with how November Stipend was paid.

It will be recalled that earlier on in December 2018, an amount of GHS 67m was released and shortly after, NABCO beneficiaries were paid.

If all things follow December’s format, stipend will likely reflect in accounts from the 8th of January 2019.

Again, NABCO stipend will be paid through e-zwitch.

The use of the e-zwich payment mode was to help check beneficiaries who were already enrolled onto other government programmes.

This has worked so far as some people have been blocked.

Also, the source said that in 2019, the NABCO App will be updated so it could work better,

It would then be used to track trainees and see when they report to work.
