The Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the approval of 2023 academic year calendar for public for second cycle schools. The announcement was made by Hon. Minister for Education upon the
recommendation of the Ministerial Committee.

When will BECE 2022 Candidates go to school?

The 2022 BECE Candidates based on the released calender for 2023 academic year will have to report on 20th February, 2023. But as at now that the results and school placement has not yet been released, the resume date will be extended. It is confirmed that the new date for BECE candidates to go to school is February 7th 2023.

How to check your BECE resuts

  1. Visit the Waec Result Checker Online Portal via the link below;
    https://eresults.waecgh.org/
  2. Enter your Index Number.
  3. Select the Type of Examination (e.g. BECE).
  4. Select your Examination Year eg. 2022.
  5. Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
  6. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card eg. 012345678912.
  7. Confirm your Index Number and Examination Year. This is to ensure that your examination information is correct.
  8. Click on Submit and wait for the display in the popup window. This may take several seconds.

How to check BECE School placement

  1. Go to CSSPS BECE Placement Checker Portal – www.cssps.org
  2. Enter your 10-digits BECE index number followed by the year.
  3. Enter the eVoucher Code (12-digits voucher number).
  4. Click on the Proceed button.
  5. Wait for a new window with your School Placement to show up.

Final words

Time table for 2023 academic year has already been drafted and approved but with the delay of the school placement, students might not report to their respective schools on the said date on the calender. Regardless the new development, parents and students must prepare and wait for the new date because its a must that they will be reporting to to school and it might to soon or later.
