WAEC Giving “Second Chance” to Students who failed 2018 WASSCE

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has opened a short notice registration for this year’s West African Senior School Certificate Examination for Private Candidates (NOV/DEC).

According to WAEC, it will reopen registration for Private Candidates from July 17 to 31,2018. The Examination Council believes the purpose of reopening the registration was to benefit those who couldn’t register during the regular period.

Prospective Candidates are expected to visit any WAEC Accredited Càfe Operators for registration.

Candidates registering will be allocated to examination centres in their regional capitals Only. WAEC concluded that there were possible terms and conditions applied to the short notice registration.

Full Statement

The West African Examinations Council will re-open registration for WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2018 from 17th to 31st July, 2018 for the benefit of candidates who could not register during the regular period.

Prospective candidates should report at WAEC accredited cafe operators for registration.

Candidates registering during the period will be allocated examination centres in the REGIONAL CAPITALS ONLY. Other terms and conditions apply.
