GES Recruitment Results are out for Double Track Teachers; Check now

The Ghana Education Service (GES ) has released results of the Double track recruitment exercise for new teachers today, November 6, 2018.

The new teachers will join some of the existing teachers to handle the Gold Track students who are to report to school on Saturday November 10, 2018 to begin their semester for the 2018 /19 academic year.

The Director – General of the GES, Professor Kwasi Opoku Amankwa revealed this in an interview with Daily Graphic on arrangement for the Gold track students and teachers.

He revealed that, successful applicants would have to go online to print their appointment letters and proceed to their respective schools schools where they have been posted.

The GES is looking to recruit 8,8872 new teachers but over 40,200 university graduates applied and the GES had to use the the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) to conduct a selection examination to be able to shortlist the number needed.

The recruitment is part of the process for the roll out of the double track system to ensure that the teachers are not over tasked.

Checks conducted by Asetena.com has also revealed that, the website for the recruitment exercise www.gespromotions.gov.gh has opened and that candidates can continue to check their results whether selected or not.
