Ghana does not lose human resources when you take your studies abroad, because, by all means, you will return to pass on the knowledge to a lot of people here. It is important to know that you can choose to work abroad for some time after school, but you need to return home and work here as well.

What to consider before applying for a University Abroad

To study abroad, you must consider the expenses. If you are not going on a scholarship, do you have enough money to cover your expenses? How about you select a school that will be close to where you stay? That brings us to the issue of accommodation.

Accommodation in some countries can be very expensive, Germany for instance. If you have family members or friends abroad, you are at an advantage, but if you don’t, prepare your pockets. If you are going to study in a country that does not speak English, try and study a little of their national language before going, it’s important.

What will you be studying? How will it benefit you in the future? Does this course guarantee a career pathway in the future?
