The University of Ghana is the oldest and largest public university in Ghana. Founded in 1948 as an affiliate College of the University of London, the University of Ghana run programs from the University of London until it became a full-time degree-awarding university in 1961.
On the global scale, the University of Ghana is one of the highest-ranking universities in Ghana and the entire African continent at large. But someone will ask how they have been able to stand the test of time and have become one of the best?

In this regard, I am going to recommend to you some of the best undergraduate courses to study at the University of Ghana.
The courses at the University of Ghana is classified under the arts, business, physical and biological sciences, agriculture, engineering sciences, nuclear and allied sciences, and law.
Also, all these courses have been assigned a specific college and these are the Colleges of Humanities, Health Science, Basic and Applied Science, and Education.

Bachelor of Law (LLB)
The University of Ghana is known to be one of the best undergraduate law Universities in Ghana. The University of Ghana Law School has some of the best law professors with years of experience in the field of law.

With this programme, students are given three (3) arts courses to study in the first year. After successful completion of the first year, students are offered the opportunity to choose any of the two (2) courses and then stick with them for the rest of their stay in the school.
The student will choose whether to major in one and minor in the other or if the student can handle it, he/she can choose to major in both courses. This is an umbrella programme that comprises all the art courses in the school.

Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Science
Mathematics is known to be one of the most difficult subjects in the world. But in reality, Mathematics is one of the easiest subjects in the world.
As such, the University of Ghana BSc. Mathematical Science programme equips you with everything you need to know about the Mathematical Sciences. Whenever people hear of the Mathematical Science programme, all they think about is mathematics.
That is not entirely true, as the University of Ghana Mathematical Science course comprises of Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science, and Biomathematics.
In level 100, you will be required to study almost all these subjects. But when you get to level 200, you will be required to choose the particular course you wish to gain a certificate in.
So, at level 200, you will choose from the following Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science, and Biomathematics. So if you want to study any of the following, then you have to choose the Mathematical Science program.
